Socorro-#9 Ma’Leah Brown. Socorro High School is in Class 3A District 3.
Alamo-#5 Tisha Mexicano is District Player of the Year, #3 Dora Dominguez, #1 Marshayla Herrera, and #25 Elisha Apache. Alamo is in Class A District 3.
Magdalena-#2 Nikole Torres, #7 Kali Bruton, and #6 Oliviah Clark. #0 Amberlee Apachito received honorable mention. Magdalena is in Class 1A District 2.
NMT Men’s Rugby
The NMT men’s rugby team will travel to the Denver area this weekend, Nov. 22-23. They will be competing in the Division III Collegiate Rugby Championship. Their first match is against Montana on Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. at Infinity Park Stadium in Glendale, CO, just outside of Denver.
If they lose the first game, they will play at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Winning their first match would have them playing at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Winners in this 15s qualifying tournament will go on to play in the Collegiate Rugby National Championship. The championship matches will be in Houston, TX, from Dec. 12-14.
