SHS Wrestling

1/16-17 Clash at the Coliseum in Farmington, hosted by Aztec Wrestling. 

1/21 at home versus Roswell.

1/23 at home versus Belen, 4 p.m.

1/30 District Duals at home, 11 a.m.

Alamo basketball

1/15-17 V boys and girls at the Reserve Tournament. The Cougars won two out of three games in the tournament: W 73-48 over Quemado, L 76-51 versus Logan and W 87-45 against Reserve. Logan is a 16-1 juggernaut basketball team that only lost its one game by one point in OT. The Cougars are now 12-4 overall for the season.

The Lady Cougars Reserve tournament results: L against Springer 55-31, W over Animas 56-16 and L versus Colonial Juarez 64-58. They are currently 5-9 on the season.

1/20 V boys won at home vs. Vaughn, 84-14.

1/20 JV at Wallatowa: girls won 33-20, boys won 69-54.

The SHS Cheer team will cheer at most home basketball games, eighth grade and up.

1/31 at Magdalena Tournament, cancelled.
