SHS Wrestling
12/19-12/20 Colorado XMas in Greeley. The teams traveled up to Colorado on Thursday, Dec. 18, and returned on Sunday, Dec. 21.
Jan. 2-3 Conflict at Cleveland, at the Rio Rancho Events Center.
Alamo Cougars
12/18 JV girls & boys at Pine Hill.
12/19 JH girls & boys at Quemado.
12/22 Striking Eagle Tournament. The first round was at home for the Cougars: JH girls won 51-21, JH boys won 52-26, varsity girls won 48-33 versus Zuni and varsity boys lost 52-49 to Mescalero Apache. The JH teams played against Nanelzhiin Torrean Middle School.
The next two rounds of the tournament will take place on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 26-27, in Gallup.
The junior high teams play at Hozho Academy. Next games are versus Ojo Encino on Dec. 26: girls at 12 noon and boys at 1 p.m.
The varsity teams play at Miyamura High School. Next games are on Dec. 26, opponents TBD: boys play at 1 p.m. and girls play at 4 p.m.

SMS Braves
12/15 Away versus Belen.
12/18 Away versus Los Lunas: both seventh and eighth grade teams for SMS lost their games.
The seventh graders are now 4-3 overall, while the eighth graders are 3-6 overall for the season.
SMS Lady Braves
12/15 At home versus Belen.
12/18 At home versus Los Lunas: both seventh and eighth grade SMS teams lost. The first halves were slow for the Lady Braves, but the second halves of the games were more competitive.
