6 p.m. Festival of the Lights at NMT’s Brown Hall. Join us as we kick off our 4th annual Holiday Light Show. Watch and listen as our custom systems present a dazzling display of lights and music. Learn more at SocorroCodes.org

Saturday Dec. 6

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Holiday Photos at the Macey Center Lower Lobby, NMT.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kaleidoscope of Quilts: Quilt show and craft fair presented by the fiber arts guild of Socorro County. Live music noon to 4 p.m. and light refreshments. St. Paul’s United Methodist Church 1000 Goad Street, Socorro.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Holiday Arts & Craft Fair dedicated to the late Wanda Mansell with 30 vendors at the Magdalena School Fine Arts building, 201 Duggins Drive, Magdalena.

City of Socorro Luminaria Stroll, Matanza and parade.

4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Socorro Fire Department Matanza at the Socorro Plaza with live music.

5 p.m. Community Band, 6:30 p.m. Belly Dance Club.

6 p.m. Socorro Holiday Light Parade, the City of Socorro Presents: The Grinch Comes to Socorro! On California Street. Followed by the Luminaria Stroll and pictures with Santa at the Socorro Plaza.

Friday Dec. 12

6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Senior Center Christmas Bingo at the Socorro Senior Center.

Saturday Dec. 13

6 p.m. Magdalena Electric Light Parade “Joy to the World” Free entry sign up at Village Hall by 4 p.m. Dec. 11. Followed by photos with Santa with refreshments at the Magdalena Fire Station on 700 First Street.

7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Holiday Photos: Take pictures with Santa in his workshop, the Gingerbread man in the candy cane lane room and Grinch in Whoville at Positive Outcomes. 1115 North California Street Socorro.

Wednesday, Dec. 17

12 p.m. Senior Movie: A Christmas Movie, free for ages 60 + at Loma Theater, Socorro.

Thursday, Dec. 18

11 a.m. to 2 p .m. Senior Christmas Dance with live music from Suavecito and pictures with Mr. & Mrs. Claus. At the Socorro Senior Center.

Friday, Dec. 19

2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Christmas Celebration, Pictures with Santa, crafts, hot chocolate, cookies and Christmas carols at the Socorro Public Library.

Saturday December 20

La Venta de Navidad: A Christmas season sale, featuring local arts and crafts vendors and treats, preceding the Mariachi Christmas performance at the Macey Center
