SAN MIGUEL CHURCH was hit with two instances of vandalism last week. Several panes of a 64-
year-old stained glass window in the parish office building were broken and the glass window
over the statue of the Virgin Mary and Child on the west side of the parish office near the
sidewalk was smashed. According to Father Andrew J. Pavlak the vandalism apparently
occurred over Thanksgiving weekend. Pavlak is asking church members to “not get angry,” and
said he will be praying for people who feel the need to do things like this. Pavlak said video
from surveillance cameras will help police locate the vandal.
