Isabelle and her husband were steadfast in their Christian faith, instilling in their children the values of love, service, and devotion to God. Their legacy of faith continues to shine through the generations they nurtured.
A gifted artisan, Isabelle was a celebrated Navajo rug weaver, known for her masterful “Eye-Dazzler” style. Her work is proudly displayed in museums across the country, including the Smithsonian, a testament to her talent and cultural heritage.
For many years, Isabelle also served the children of her community through her work at the BIA boarding school, where she cared for students from Alamo during the 1960s and 70s. To many, she was a second mother—a guiding presence filled with compassion and kindness.
Isabelle will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family, the beauty of her art, and the lives she touched with her unwavering love and grace.
