John Sisto Gonzales 

John Sisto Gonzales, a devoted son and respected member of the Socorro community, passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 59.

John is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sisto and Mary Leyba (maternal); Pablo and Candelaria Gonzales (paternal); and Ramona and Madalenio Betancur.

He is survived by his loving parents, Johnny and Eleanor Gonzales, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins, who will miss him dearly.

Services for John will be held on Friday, March 13, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta. A visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will then be celebrated at 11 a.m.

John will be placed to rest at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens Cemetery immediately following the mass. Reception to follow.
