SHS Track and Field at Tiger Invite

Socorro track and field student-athletes finished with seven top three finishes and numerous top ten finishes at the Tiger Invite at Los Lunas High School on March 7.

Girls’ notable results: 

100 meter dash: Miquelia Padilla, fifth place, 13.76.

200 m dash: Miquelia Padilla, seventh, 29.32.

800 m run: Mackenzie Smith: ninth, 2:47.82.

1600 m run: Abby Cadol, ninth, 6:14.81.

3200 m run: Abby Cadol, fourth, 13:34.83.

100 m hurdles: Tatum Brown, fifth, 19.88.

300 m hurdles: Miquelia Padilla, sixth, 56.29.

4x100 m relay: eighth, 1:04.31.

4x200 m relay: eighth, 2:06.19.

4x400 m relay: seventh, 5:11.53.

4x800 m relay: fifth, 11:22.24.

Pole vault: Sienna Bunning and Breanne Lucero tied for second at 7-0.00 (feet-inches).
