Magdalena's All-District basketball players

Magdalena Steers

First team:

Shane Montoya, senior: 6.4 points per game, 2.7 assists per game, 2.3 steals per game.

Ky Stephens, senior: 9.5 points per game, 9.2 rebounds per game, 1.2 blocks per game. 

Ky Stephens was also named to the green team for the All Star game and will play at the Rio Rancho Events Center on Friday, March 20. The boys’ game will be at 5 p.m.

Second team:

Kanaan Stephens, sophomore: 10.0 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game, 2.7 steals per game.

Magdalena girls

First team:

Jema Ganadonegro, senior: 13.1 points per game, 3.7 rebounds per game. 2.6 assists per game.

Elia Cleveland, senior: 12.2 points per game, 2.8 steals per game, 3.3 assists per game.

Both Cleveland and Ganadonegro were named to the red All Star team and will be playing in the Class 1A-2A All Star Game at the Rio Rancho Events Center on Friday, March 20, at 3 p.m. 

Second team:

Kali Bruton, freshman: 6.7 points per game, 3.7 rebounds per game, 1.8 steals per game.

Honorable mention:

Nikole Torres, junior: 4.6 points per game, 2.0 rebounds per game, 39% field goal shooting.
