Wednesday, Jan. 28: Socorro Warriors basketball at home versus the Ruidoso Warriors. JV and varsity teams played.

Thursday, Jan. 29: Magdalena JH and JV teams at home versus Quemado. Magdalena JH teams: boys won 65-7 and girls won 48-17. Magdalena JV teams: boys won 62-31 and girls lost 28-25.

Thursday, Jan. 29: Magdalena varsity teams at home versus Quemado: girls lost 67-51 and boys won 64-43.

Friday, Jan. 30: SHS wrestling hosted the District Duals. Warriors won all four matches of the day: W 39-24 versus the Goddard Rockets; W 51-30 versus the Artesia Bulldogs; W 45-36 versus the Ruidoso Warriors; W 51-18 versus the Cobre Indians. Lady Warriors had matches against Ruidoso and Cobre.

Friday, Jan. 30: Magdalena varsity basketball teams at home against Hatch Valley for their winter homecoming games: girls won 69-17 (not pictured) and boys won 58-34.
